| Nile Bay Arabians started in 1992 as the result of my lifelong love of horses. As soon as I was old enough to drive, I began haunting the Atkinsons of Anchor Hill Ranch for a job. Finally, Dr. Tom said if I was going to be hanging around all the time, he might as well put me to work! That job and those people have been the most influential part of my life, besides my family. I learned from the Atkinsons to always be honest in my business dealings and to never cut corners. I was fortunate to find a husband who shared my love of the horses and my belief that "reputation is everything". We strive to breed the best quality horses and above all, be upfront and honest about them to our customers.
We send our heartfelt congratulations to Zandai Arabians on the purchase of
Ansata Ken Rashik. We will miss him here, but look forward to seeing some
lovely Rashik foals out of the Zandai mares. .

Sire: Salaa El Dine (Ansata Halim Shah x Hanan)
Dam: Ansata Prima Rose (*Jamilll x Ansata Rosetta)
 Uniquely bred, Ansata Ken Rashik was sired by the well-known European sire Salaa El Dine owned by Dr. Hans Nagel. Rashik's dam, Ansata Prima Rose, (a half-sister to the late Ansata Halim Shah) was sold to the Ruler of Qatar. Rashik represents two crosses to the great broodmare Hanan and carries strong Ansata lines to the
foundation mare, *Ansata Bint Bukra. He is a gentle soul, very quiet natured and easy to live with. His foals inherit his tiny muzzle, big kind eyes, level topline, and best of all, those long straight legs! They have been a pleasure to work with. We are very proud that Judith Forbis of Ansata has invited him to be in her new book, Authentic Arabian Bloodstock II.
