SAH BAROU SUDANA: 1997 Bay
AHR#550919 SAH HASIM KHABAR x MAH BAH ROUFA. She has produced 1 blk
filly, 1 bay colt. This mare is a grand daughter of Wayne Newton's black
stallion CHAR SERR . "SUDANA" has an outcross
pedigree for Babsons. Her head has very big oriental eyes, set
well apart, big pronounced jibbah, and dish. She would produce that
sought after "hybrid -nick" with nearly any stallions
bloodline. If you're as dyed in the wool Babson breeder, you could
produce very exotic foals with her. She is very sweet, and a great mama.
I obtained a wonderful group of varied
pedigrees and type, to try and resurrect the rare Hallany Mistanny /
Babson group of horses. These are not the ones referred to as
"Babson /Browns" which have Julyan blood. These only
have imports from W R Brown, and Henry Babson. The line comes
through MASADA SAAFAANA, whom we attained from the Bentwood
disbursal, on her way to Canada. Thanks to David Myers, breeding manager
of Zahara at the time, he was key in this significant purchase.
Now that I have fillies out of the mares,
I am not inspired to breed them Babson, and will now let the Babson
breeders, or those who appreciate the Babson influence, attain them.
The foals out of the Babson mares are by
ZARIFE EL MANSOUR. They are what I refer to, tongue and
cheek of course, as my 'NEW AND IMPROVED BABSONS"
.....But in many ways, they are.
They all look like full siblings, though their mothers are very different types. Ultra typey, straight legs, short backs, fine flexible necks, and are so sweet and gentle. They are amongst the rare non-Nazeer Pyramid Egyptians, are Sheykh Obeyd, and would be blue list qualified too. I believe that beyond their beauty, the little backcross will insure greater fertility and stamina. Remember, WR Brown got to Prince Mohammad Ali's famous MANIAL STUD, on the Isle of Rhoda, in the Nile, before Henry Babson did, in 1932. Only the blood of RODA , and *ZARIFE from that famous import are available with only 1932 imported blood, courtesy of Henry Babson. These hoses are really special, and one can waste much time simply enjoying their balanced lines grazing in the fields. It is interesting to note that the Isle of Rhoda, ( which means roses)...the "garden Island" of the Nile, is the very same island where Moses was found floating in the reeds, according to the famous artist and author, David Roberts
.

rejected foal, and is a real pet. CONGRATULATIONS
